Everything we do is to further our communities' education about the outdoors and how to treat it. We teach Leave No Trace principles, Wilderness First Aid, and how to be a good trail steward. And it is with this thought that we go one step further, teaching women how to educate their own families about the importance of being a responsible and committed outdoors person. It is our goal to leave the trails we visit a better place for our having been there, and to teach the women of Trail Dames how to carry these ideals into their own communities.
